Bm was great cloudy .I went offshore found some nice fish 75 area.had a good tip 300 copper frog spiny.on way in  many fish were staging 40 over 60

I used to love the smallmouth fishing off of hedges in Webster. It got so bad years ago I stopped fishing for them. Maybe it's time to give it a try again. Are you using a drop shot rig to keep the Gobies off?

I've had good luck trolling with deep diver ,silver blue has been hot,drop shot I'll have to set up a few rods for that

One note is the scarcity of crabs another gobie problem

John, like many bad things these days, Gobies came from Russian ships. BTW they make great smallmouth bait. You can’t transport them but once caught, send them to within a foot of the bottom tail hooked.
