Fished North of Meyers/ South of AES (Miliken) both east and west side

6am to 9:30am

Flasher/flie combo did nothing (greens)

Switched to spoons. Immediately got 2 lakers- 20" and 16"

Dark colors worked- purple and alwife

Depth was 100ft on bottom

Purple and green seem to always get some action. What were the temps looking like??

38 to 40 surface temps

I had 40 to 44.5 in that area last weekend.

I noticed the lake was much colder near/below AES than I expected. The southern end of the lake has warmed up considerably. I thought with the recent few hot days that the high 30 degree temps were gone. The temps were in the areas I landed fish. It was higher around Meyers.. falling in the range you listed.

On 4/24 I saw 39.5-40 surface@ AES in 100-150 FOW. Lakers were schooled up, we doubled up three times each time we made a pass through one single way point, all on flasher/fly @2.3 SOG.

With the rain this week the temps should move up and the fish cooperate a little more than they have been.
