Lowrance problem

On my Lowrance elite12 T1 the cursor keeps appearing and I have to select Clear cursor every 5 minutes to show the position of my boat. I tried to connect to the Lowrance website to see if there is an upgrade for this problem but I couldn't connect. Has anyone else had this issue? Also the touch screen doesn't react sometimes and I have to try numerous times to clear the cursor. I installed a Lowrance unit because it is compatible with my Simrad autopilot and I use it only for GPS.

how long have you had the unit, is it still under warranty? go to their website and contact them and tell them what your unit is doing and ask if they can help you. I bought some used hds units and asked about using the transducer that came with it. it came with a gen 1 but I have a gen 3 touch that I want to use the best transducer for fishing Lake Erie. but they want the numbers off the transducer before they can advise me. and I have been procrastinating and haven't sent it to them yet.

1st install the latest update using a card of 32gig and less and once done calibrate your screen.

I installed the updates and calibrated the unit. Won't use it again until next year so I hope it solved my issues.
