Rainbows

It is time now that we change the Regs in the Finger Lakes to allow the taking of 2 rainbows in the western fingers as there is more then enough to support the taking of. what do you fishermen think

I’d agree. Seems like the rainbows were in much better numbers this year in Seneca. Not sure about the others as I only had the opportunity to fish Seneca and Cayuga.

Yep the 1 fish limit was a mistake anyway  for the lakes west of Cayuga It never should have been imposed on Canandaigua at all for example and it was a pretty conservative move anyway for Seneca. What i wonder is why the DEC seems to think the perch fishery is OK in Seneca and Canandaigua.

I think it was ridiculous that the rainbow decline in hemlock stopped the walleye stocking but they should raise it back to 2
