Thank you all for your posts and answers. I wonder if I need to use lighter gear than the summer setups we have now. Can you please advise this rookie. TYVM

if necessary u can use the same but i would put 25 ft of floro leader. 10-12 lb. see what others suggest

Lighter lines are a must in the clear , shallow water   Browns are very line shy  I drop down to 12 # main line with 8-10 # fluorocarbon leaders

I do fine using straight 12 lb Big Game. I do often use 6’ of 12 lb fluorocarbon.  Even 15 lb Big Game is fine especially in colored water that I generally look for.
