how to sell a used muzzleloader

Hi all,

Given that muzzleloaders are not considered "guns," what are NYS laws regarding an individual (me) selling a muzzleloader. I do not think this forum allows advertising a muzzleloader for sale - correct?

Any advice is appreciated.

Be carful some muzzle loaders require back ground checks bc they can be converted to center-fire . Some cva, some Thompson centers all encores and the tradition nitro fires are a few. So better check before you sell one online. I work in the firearms industry and trust me the laws are very confusing.

i don't know about craigslist but you can sell them on eBay. i am looking at them now.
