Chaumont parking/access

Can anybody give me some advise on where to park with a small ATV trailer near any ice access around the bay? I’m very familiar with the area we have a camp and boat in cape Vincent but have never been on the ice in chaumont before. Where is the safest place to access the ice on an atv and is there any specific areas to avoid on the wheeler? I will get an ice report before I go from the hardware store but I get nervous on new water with the wheeler lol

state boat launch. I parked my enclosed trailer and unloaded atv drive down the boat launch onto ice. I would suggest hitting hardware store for map very helpful on accessing ice
