cross lake stae ditch 5-9-09

launched out of the marina and fished all the points goin south,caught one catfish on a sassy shad.fished the state ditch in and around the bridge for a couple of hours 2 more catfish hit on blade baits,trolled from bridge to lake 1 shad.so for the day 6am to 11am.3 cats and a shad,no eyes or toothy critters.and so long 4 now;john

thanks for the report. I was just looking this AM for any info. one of my favorite places but haven't made it out there yet. we picked up some cats as well there last year at this time and had similr challenges with the toothies..just 1 30 inch pike.

what marina did you launch from?

I'm starting to hate Catfish. Everytime I think I've got a Pike or 6 pound Bass, out pops a 16" Catfish!
