Irish Thunder wins the Wilson Scotty

Irish Thunder took first place in the Scotty, and weighed in the big fish on Sunday @26.1 lbs !!!

Second place went to Cold Steel

Third place went to Reel Hooked up

Fourth place went to Billy V

I'm to tired to remember the rest....sorry guys.

Congrats to all the teams who took money. Day two was snotty...with 6-8 ft. waves most of the day. It was a great event and lot's of fun.

Thinking about fishing the Scotty in Wilson next year. Two questions:

1. Can a fish entered in the Scotty also be weighed in the LOC and vice-versa?

2. Can you pick and choose what series to fish in without having to fish them all to be eligible?

The scotty is set up so if you get a derby fish they give you a phone number to call so if you choose to run in for a derby fish they will have a escort to meet you at the dock so you can weigh in the derby fish with min loss of weight and still allow you to go back out to finish your day of fishing in the scotty. Thats a nice rule or procedure the pro ams should consider but you MUST get the approval and instructions BEFORE running through the pierheads from the tourny officials.Again all the info here is 2nd hand and you should always make 100% shure of any rule or infraction as you are the only one responsable for the crew and the boat entered ,I didnt understand is a poor excuse too tell your crew if you get disqualified and there is a oppertunity for questions to be answerd at the end of each meetitn.
