I have a pair of 40's, used for 8 seasons.  They are spooled with 500' 30lb mason wire and spooled with enough dacron backer to fill the spools.  Some external wear from use, but always stored out of the elements and in very good working condition.  One of the reels is missing the screen over the line counter.  Asking $150/ reel.
