Worth the cost. They are a game changer. I replied to you over on LEU also. I have them on my Fishmaster and they are awesome.

Also worth looking into wave pro. That’s what I have and they’ve been great. I chose them based on their size and ability to easily move them around. There’s pros and cons to all the different types.

They will change the way you feel your boat rides. Definitely a back saver. We put them in a lot of Starcraft boats we sell. Not sure of where you're located, but if you're near the Sodus Point area I have them in stock.

I'm going to order one for my 18ft Alumacraft. Just waiting to get it out of storage and do the measurements for the height. I'm 6'3" so probable the taller. Anyone have some insight?

Oceansouth makes an air ride pedestal that you should avoid.  At $125 the price is cheap and so is the unit.  I installed one on my Starcraft Fishmaster and in one month the pedestal was wobbling from side to side.  It has a plastic insert into the base and it cannot handle the constant motion from waves 2+', nor can it handle a heavy seat.

Went out yesterday to run the boat around, first time with the new seats. The smile on my sons face while  running through the chop was priceless. As all have mentioned, it’s a game changer for how your boat runs and feels. No more sore back, at least for now!
