Dropback steelhead fishing at the Salmon River

Fished the Salmon River from the 4th through the 8th of May. With good results using spey rods with heavy sink tips and large streamer flies. From mid-river to the lower river, even though the river levels were high, we should have good drop-back fishing through the end of May. Best colors were brown, white and tan in size 2 to 4.
