Just want to share this; I was updating my card and I decide to give a try with downloading relief shading for lake Ontario and it looks cool.

Maybe C-Map offer something similar but I don't own one so I can't compare

Here are the Navionics and conventional nautical charts for the same area.  The relief shading shown on your chart offers a substantial improvement over the conventional charts!  Good share and thank you.

To get the shaded relief you need the Platinum and yes it's a good improvement

Do you know if you buy one chip, and you have your units linked together dose it display on both?

Good stuff! I have the platinum plus card in my HB, along side my Lakemaster, but I have never updated it. Might have to take a look at that.

When you update just check: shaded relief and you need to put the 4 pins over the lake; sometimes you don't see those pins it depends on how you zoom in or out

Are you able to get  that shading in water deeper than 50ft?

On the Navionics app for the phone it is only good out to 50ft deep after that contours and detail are garbage 

also out side of 90ft deep contours go to 6’ separation
