Went out for few hours this afternoon boated 5/5 got our first salmon of 2023. Alot color in the water temp was 40 on surface

Congratulations!  I have not heard of any kings caught in the lake this year yet so you may be the first!

I do belive its first king of the year to be boated i have not heard or seen any yet it was a surprise to us

Smacked a king this morning and a ton of browns out of I-Bay. Got wet but stayed relatively warm.
