SODUS 4/10/23

Launched next to the CG station at 7:30am, pulled out at 1:30pm. Trolled west to Pultneyville and then back. Water temp hovered around 43.5 deg but did see 44. Thought we were gonna hammer the browns but only boated 4. Nicest one was an 8 pounder followed a 6 and two 2-pounders.  What a great day on the water,,, sunny, light breeze, and very little boat traffic.  Looked like lots of boats in the bay after perch.

Very nice. What launch? The old bait shop? I've only ever used the public one around the point

Ty let.woodward04;  First sentence.  Launched next to the CG station at 7:30 am.  CG abbreviation for Coast Guard.  It is located next to the inlet, on the west side.  It is usable until Memorial Day. Best ramp with the best parking on Sodus Bay IMO.

Ok thank you. Know right where it is did not know it was public access. When is it off limits?

On the eastern shore, Oswego-Salmon river rarely do we see the seafloellen type of brown trout with the yellow hue, classic brown trout. More of the silvery salmon type to the east. Beautiful fish !!!

Launched there today. Beats Fair Haven and the Genny public launches.
